Phoebe and I had a very productive night so far. I started to make macaroni salad for Saturday’s picnic for the Sons of a Carpenter and I also was multi-tasking by cooking dinner at the same time. We did not have anything fancy but I did get to grill hot dogs on my George Foreman (with the removable plates – so much easier to clean than my old one, if you haven't invested in one of these suckers - why not?) and corn on the cob. I will display my macaroni salad recipe later with pictures; it is an original from my Mom, and my creation! I’m putting my own little tweaks to it. So look for that on Sunday!
Wil & I had all intentions of going to MusikFest on Tuesday night but with the nasty rain we decided to try out Red Lobster’s CrabFest and we were not disappointed! We both got crab legs, steamed broccoli, jasmine rice and shrimp! We started with a shrimp bruschetta appetizer (AMAZING) and we both had side salads, then we had our entrée and we decided to split their Warm Chocolate Chip Lava Cookie. It was a giant chocolate chip cookie with a brownie in the middle of course on the top was vanilla ice cream! It was heaven in our mouths!
I’ve been meaning to back-up my laptop music, videos, etc onto my external hard drive but I’ve become really really lazy and just haven’t. And since the cloud backup has become the “new backup” I decided to look for some free websites out there. I came across Adrive which allows you to sign up for free 50 GB of space to back-up your files. I first wanted to try dropbox but it only allows 2GB of space for free and I wanted more space than that. I signed up and decided to give it a try when I got home. I tried to upload my 20GB music folder, nope, you can’t upload folders. You can only add individual files. So I moved onto my movie files – nope that didn’t work either, it timed out, and to be honest it made my computer go nutso. My laptop does that enough on its own that I was not amused with the website. I will say that it might work well for single files such as word documents or pictures but I honestly got so frustrated without instruction and the timing out that I stopped trying. Maybe some day I will try again since I created an account anyway - and maybe it will work for you better!
My rating: Thumps down

I haven't eaten at red lobster in ages! I remember their cheesy biscuits and how my dad tried to make them at home...disaster.
